No More Mookie

Survivor Fiji, episode 11.

Blackmail or Betrayal

At night after TC Alex and Mookie realize Dreamz turned on them. However Dreamz was the one lone vote for Mookie the others voted for Edgardo. The next day they talk and Dreamz tries to convince them he didn't betray them.

Reward Challenge
Reward: luxury spa resort.
Challenge: giant sling shot ball catch in a muddy field (they were divided into two teams).
Orange: Yau-man (sling), Mookie, Boo, Cassandra.
Green: Stacy (sling), Alex, Earl, Dreamz.
Boo hurt himself trying to catch a ball and required medical attention.
It was close but Green won 5-4 with a final catch by Dreamz. They chose Boo to go to Exile Island, saying he had a lot of luxury so far in the game.

Reward Spa
Alex said in private that he will try and work his way into the dominate alliance. Stacy said it was awkward having him there.

Back to Camp
Mookie tells us that he feels that he's the next one gone. While Yau-man is fishing, Mookie searches his stuff and finds out that he has an Immunity Idol. Cassandra and Stacy hear Mookie, Dreamz and Alex talking about Yau-man's Immunity Idol (they plan on catching Yau-man lying about it at Tribal Council). The guys then found out the women heard their plans. Later the three guys confront Yau-man and threaten him with blackmail over the Idol.

Exile Island: Boo
Nothing much happened, not sure if the clue is very helpful.

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: big grid puzzle, they each secretly selected three squares and then played a game sort of like Battleship.
Stacy won Immunity, it came down to Stacy, Yau-man and Alex.

Scheming Is Free
Alex and Mookie plan on raisin' some hell before being voted off. The Big Earl alliance targeted Alex, some talked about splitting vote for fear of a Hidden Immunity Idol.

Tribal Council
Alex and Mookie's plan to raise some hell doesn't go over well. They brought up Yau-man's Hidden Immunity Idol after talking about snakes and rats. Jeff asks them how they know he has an Idol, so they looked like a snake or a rat going through someone else's personal belongings. Yau-man played it cool, he said there is a certain expectation about privacy but that it's just the game.

Voted Off: Mookie
Final words: . . . kind of relieved to be done . . . would have been nice to still be playing . . . it was a great experience . . .

Jeff Probst's Final Thought
Based on what I heard tonight, it sounds like there's a group of six and Alex which means he's either the odd man out or very valuable.

Blackmail or Betrayal

The castaways compete for a seaplane ride and a trip to a spa, but an injury to Boo leaves him struggling in the contest. Also, some players learn that Yau-Man has an immunity idol.

A severe injury leaves one Survivor in excruciating pain. Can they recover or will they be removed from the game?

Two Survivors discover powerful information which, if revealed, could change the course of the entire game.

With few options left, tribemates are faced with a decision of blackmail or betrayal if they want to keep their alliance intact.

Rumors

Reward Challenge: Dreamz, Stacy, Earl, Alex? Probably one wins and selects some or all of the others to share with.
Exile Island: Yau-Man, Mookie or Boo?
Immunity Challenge: Yau-Man?
Voted Off: Mookie or Alex?

Stacy, Stacy, Stacy

Did I miss something, why do they all seem to dislike Stacy? During last week's quiz she was voted least likely to stay in contact with after the show and the one who isn't making the most of this opportunity.

Edgardo Joins the Jury

Survivor Fiji, episode 10

It's a Turtle?!

Mookie tells Dreamz that he blew it for them by voting for Michelle instead of Stacy. Big Earl ponders whether he can trust Boo who he wants to take Michelle's place in his alliance with Yauman, and Cassandra.

Reward Challenge
Reward: luxury yacht.
Challenge: questions about fellow tribemates, answer correctly knock out a tribemates tower (each with three towers).
Trust with life? Earl. Stacy knocked out.
Least likely family dinner? Boo. Boo knocked out.
Most sense of entitlement? Alex.
Would like stranded with? Yauman. Alex, Earl, knocked out.
Not want see again after game? Stacy. Mookie out.
Who smells the worst? Dreamz. Yauman out.
Mistakenly believes in control? Alex. Edgardo out.
Wasted this great oportunity? Stacy.
Surprised most athletically? Yauman. Dreamz out.
Cassandra won Reward, picked Mookie to go to Exile Island.
She also chose Boo, Dreamz, and Yauman to go to the luxury yacht with her.

Exile Island: Mookie
Mookie irritated with Cassandra, says she made the worst mistake of her life. He's 99% Earl has found an Immunity Idol [Yauman really has it but Earl helped him get it.].

Luxury Yacht
Yauman and Cassandra talk about voting off Alex. Dreamz in private talked about him being the swing vote but he's not sure how to vote.

Back at Camp
Earl worries about Dreamz after he sees him talking with Alex. Dreamz tells Earl and Cassandra that Mookie has an Immunity Idol.

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: endurance, hang by arms and feet.
Order they dropped out: Cassandra, Edgardo, Earl, Mookie, Alex, Dreamz, Stacy, Boo.
Yauman won Immunity!

Scheming Is Free
Mookie talks with Alex and Dreamz and wants Earl out then Yauman and Boo. Yauman works on Stacy. Looks like Stacy is the swing vote. Mookie gave the Immunity Idol to Alex, Dreamz saw it and told the Big Earl Alliance. Mookie, Alex and Edgardo are voting for Cassandra and they hope Dreamz votes with them. The Earl Alliance is targeting Edgardo knowing that Alex has the Idol.

Tribal Council
Nothing major happened, just general talk about how chaotic the last day or so was with everyone scheming and planning for Tribal Council.
Note: Alex used an Immunity Idol after voting and before the votes were revealed.

Voted off: Edgardo
Final words:. . . I'm a little disappointed with Dreamz . . . hope the two guys in my alliance go far . . . a few others don't deserve to win . . . hope Cassandra is voted of next, I don't like her much . . .

Jeff Probst's Final Thought
Alex used an Immunity Idol even though he didn't need it. It will be re-hidden with new clues posted at Exile Island.

It's a Turtle?!

The castaways compete for a reward that includes a feast and overnight stay on a yacht that is moored within sight of the losers back at camp.

The hidden Immunity Idol stirs distrust among tribemates.

At the Reward, one Survivor works diligently to solidify an alliance.

One Survivor is caught strategizing with a member of another alliance. How will this double-dealing affect this Survivor's game?

A cat and mouse game plays out at one of the most dramatic Tribal Councils in SURVIVOR history, leaving one alliance shocked and the other gloating.

Rumors
Reward challenge: Cassandra, Exiled: Mookie, Immunity challenge (endurance): Yauman, voted off: Edgardo. How's that for a rumor wrap-up?

A few bits of Survivor news

Survivor China
The fifteenth edition of Survivor will be in China and set inland, so no island or beach setting.

Doctor, Doctor, Give Me the News
Survivor medical director Dr. Adrian Cohen was fined in Australia for inappropriately obtaining medicines (he had a bit of a cocaine problem) but will not serve any jail time. He and his practice will be under the supervision of another doctor for a year. His status with Survivor is uncertain but as of now he has not been let go.

No, Not Michelle!

Are We Gonna Live on Exile Island?!

Survivor Fiji, episode 9

I missed roughly the first 25 minutes; I'm guessing that I just missed the merge party on Exile Island. I tuned in and saw Mookie and Dreamz plotting against Stacy.

Immunity Challenge

I like how this was handled, it was really a combination Reward and Immunity Challenge. Two groups of five were randomly selected and Big Earl, Edgardo, Yauman, Boo, and Cassandra won Immunity and a nice dinner back at camp. Yauman stood out again. Boo said he was glad they won because he felt he would have been voted off.

Tribal Council

Alex, Mookie, Dreamz, Michelle, and Stacy went to Tribal Council. Jeff asked each one why he/she should vote for someone else but no one really said anything outrageous. Alex even refused to say anything about each of the other four.

Voted Off: Michelle
Final Words: Michelle put on a brave smile as she said that she was happy how she played the game and that she was a strong player; now Earl will need to find a new spy.

Jeff Probst's Final Thought
What happened here tonight will have an impact on the game and I'm sure those back at camp are anxious to hear about it.

Are We Gonna Live on Exile Island?!

The tribes merge into one group and everyone is sent to Exile Island. Mookie tells Dreamz that he found the second hidden immunity idol.

A shocking surprise crushes some tribemates and energizes others.

A twist after the Immunity Challenge leaves tribemates with zero time to deliberate before Tribal Council. How will this affect the vote?

One survivor questions their alliance when a coveted secret is impulsively revealed to them.

Rumors
No Reward Challenge because of the Merge. They all go to Exile Island to get their new buffs. In the Immunity Challenge they are split into two groups of five and Big Earl, Edgardo, Yauman, Boo, and Cassandra win Immunity. They then go immediately to Tribal Council and vote off . . . Michelle?

Say it isn't Michelle who is voted off, she's one of the few Survivors that I think I like. Oh well, maybe after the merge things pick up a bit.

It's Not the Twist, It's the Survivors

A lot of people have been saying that this season's twist, the Haves versus the Have-Nots, is a bust and that it's the reason this season is not very good. Well, I think it's the Survivors themselves who are responsible for the lackluster season.

I don't think that I really like any of them and we're at the merge. Lili was one of the most miserable contestants ever on Survivor. Rocky was an asshole. Anthony was a wet noodle (but didn't deserve Rocky's abuse). I have mixed feelings about Dreamz, but mostly he is clueless about the game.

I kind of like Big Earl but he seems over confident. Who isn't cheering for Yauman? However I'm not real excited about him. Michelle seems nice and appears to be playing a good game but who knows how I will feel about her once she gets more screen time.

Finally I don't think the Have-Nots want to win challenges anymore than usual due to the twist. I also don't know why this group is so unlikable, maybe there are more actor/model wanna-bes than usual? Hopefully things pick up after the merge.

Lisi Is the Loser

Survivor Fiji Episode 8

So You Think You Can Meke?

Ravu Tribe
Mookie, Alex, Edgardo looked for Hidden Immunity Idol while Dreamsz and Lisi slept. And wouldn't you know they found it! Lisi was the one who told them about the clues. They are planning on keeping it a secret and not telling any of the others about finding it.

Reward Challenge
Reward: Fijian feast with pork and seafood.
Competition: Meke, Fijian dance competition. How do you yell 'Footloose! in Fijian?
Yauman sat out, he said that he has no rhythm at all.
Moto won Reward, the judges said they were better organized and Ravu wasn't co-ordinated with the beat.

Exile Island
Lisi was chosen by Moto to go to Exile again. She cries on the island and said that she feels like quiting but she doesn't want to let down Alex and Edgardo. If she only knew . . .

Moto Tribe
Big Earl and Michelle plot against Stacy, they would like her to be gone before the merge.

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: blow darts, spears, and archery.
Cassandra sat out.
Moto won darts. Moto won spears (thanks to Yauman). Moto won archery too. Edgardo of Ravu said before hand that he was good at archery and he didn't even hit the target.
Moto won Immunity.

Scheming Is Free
In private Lisi said that she is done with the losers, the other members of her tribe. She told them that she wants to go home. At the last minute she changes her mind again and wants Dreamz voted off.

Tribal Council
Lisi and Dreamz are the focus of conversation, discussion is mainly about whether Lisi really wants to keep playing or not.

Voted Off: Lisi
Final words: . . . it's not a matter of will . . . Ravu will never get it together, they're a bunch of losers . . .

Jeff Probst's Final Thought
If there's one truth in this game it's that you have to really want to play the game in order to make it to the end.

So You Think You Can Meke?

The search for the hidden Immunity Idol gets ugly when tribemates lie and deceive for the find.

A Tribal Council showdown pits two tribemates against each other in a war of words.

The tribes' dancing skills are put to the test in a truly unique Immunity Challenge.

Rumors
Stop me if you have heard this before, but Moto is rumored to win both the Reward and Immunity Challenges. Also Lisi is most likely the one Exiled and voted off at Tribal Council. The internet has spoken . . . .

News
There is a bit of news to report. The Survivor Fiji finale will be on Sunday May 13. It will once again hog up the entire three hours of prime time viewing with a two hour final episode and a one hour reunion.
