Now that I've got this blog template just about the way I like it, it's time to catch up with Survivor.
Survivor Cook IslandsIn case you missed it somehow, this edition of Survivor will start with the Survivors divided by race into four groups. This has caused a bit of an uproar but I don't think that it's any big deal. They will probably be divided racially for just the first few days (the first episode aired) - sort of like when contestants were divided into groups of older men, younger men, older women and younger women.
In other
Cook Islands news,
General Motors is no longer a sponsor. And just when they stopped giving away the ugly
Pontiac Aztek (thankfully no longer in production) and started to give away a real SUV. I wonder if there will still be a car award this season?
Past Survivors of NoteRichard Hatch is in jail. He started prison in New England but has been transfered to a federal prison in Oklahoma. Hatch maintains his innocence and "is spending his time behind bars chronicling his life's experiences, beginning from the time he applied to be on
Survivor." His scheduled release date is currently Oct. 7, 2009. More info at
E! Online.
This summer
Survivor Thailand winner
Brian Heidik was arrested for
shooting a puppy with a bow and arrow.

1.
dahnashure That's
Philadelphia slang for 'down the shore,' meaning the New Jersey beach communities. Here's your homework, translate this: D'jeet yet? No, d'jew?
Next Update: In the next few days I'll give you my initial impressions of the Cook Islands Survivors.
